Downtown – The bustling urban life of Downtown hosts vast historical landmarks, most widely known for the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. The Riverside Food Lab is just one of many options to provide a variety of food with different vendors in a fun environment. With so many options for dining, shopping, and recreational activities, Downtown is a great place for those who want a variety of options and activities.

Arlington – Being one of the oldest neighborhoods in Riverside, this community provides a variety of shopping and dining options. The Arlington Village provides many of these options. Whether it’s Van Buren Blvd or the 91 Freeway, Arlington provides easy access to other communities in Riverside, such as Arlanza and La Sierra.

La Sierra – The community of La Sierra is home to many businesses, dog parks, health care providers, and shopping options, including the Galleria at Tyler. This community is a mixture of residential, commercial, and college lifestyles with the La Sierra University located on the Riverwalk Parkway. With many schooling options and plenty of residential areas, this community is great for families.

Mission Grove – Mission Grove is nestled between the Canyon Crest, Alessandro Heights, and Orangecrest communities. Orangecrest – Previously used for their citrus production, Orangecrest lives up to its name. This community is one of Riverside’s most desirable areas amongst families with predominantly residential areas. With easy and quick access to many shopping and family oriented entertainment, this area is perfect for younger families wanting to settle down.

Arlington Heights – Arlington Heights is known for its beautiful and historic Victoria Ave, a street lined with lush palm trees and colorful flowers. Arlington Heights is also home to the California Citrus State Historic Park and Mockingbird Canyon Lake. Being the largest neighborhood in Riverside city, this area has plenty to offer!

Alessandro Heights – This residential neighborhood is primarily made up of homes on larger lots of land, providing beautiful views of the neighborhood and mountains without too much clutter. This neighborhood is home to three natural arroyos, making this area full of vibrant plant and animal life. With gorgeous undeveloped land, plenty of space for larger families, and the scenery, this community is a dream come true.

Arlanza – The neighborhood of Arlanza provides a diverse type of land. With many parks and bordering the Santa Ana River Wildlife Area, this neighborhood is perfect for those who want to be one with nature. There is also a variant of residential areas. From apartment complexes to family homes, this community has a little bit of everything!

Arlington South – This community is home to the Van Buren Drive In Theater, one of the few left in California. There are many restaurants, take out, and coffee shops located in the Lincoln Plaza. With a mixture of commercial properties and residential, Arlington South has anything you could want.

Canyon Crest – Canyon Crest is a large and diverse community with modern subdivisions and apartments filled with students. There are numerous parks in this community, perfect for families or taking a break from the city life. With amazing views of downtown, you don’t have to go far for dining, shopping, and entertainment.

Casa Blanca – Casa Blanca is a very residential and family neighborhood. With a very active community, there are many public facilities dedicated to making this neighborhood prosperous and improved. On the edge of this community, you’ll find some industrial and commercial developments.

Grand – Grand is a community in Riverside that has tons of open space with approximately, only half of the neighborhood used as residential. Hawarden Hills – Hawarden Hills is primarily a residential area, consisting of mid-size and large lots. Plenty of wildlife make up this area with lots of natural environment. La Sierra Acres – This community has plenty of space for large families or those that want to grow. With mostly large lot properties, La Sierra Acres is more of a rural lifestyle and perfect for raising animals. This community has been dedicated to staying simple and is perfect for those who may want more space for animals or hobbies. 

La Sierra Hills – La Sierra Hills is dedicated to preserving their gorgeous land. Development has been designed to help maintain and preserve the natural hillside beauty. The Crestlawn Memorial Park provides the perfect place to get a breath of fresh air. If you want to feel at one with nature and preserve the beautiful land, La Sierra Hills is the place for you. 

La Sierra South – La Sierra South is a lively neighborhood that offers plenty of residential areas as well as areas to be in nature. This community is home to many desired schools as well, making it perfect for families. 

Magnolia Center – Magnolia Center is often referred to as a city within the city. This community is home to numerous restaurants and stores located in the Riverside Plaza. The residential areas of this community are conveniently located with easy access to entertainment, music, shopping, and dining. Magnolia Center is a perfect area to live for those who don’t want to travel far to have everything they need. 

Presidential Park – Presidential Park is a mixture of industrial, residential, and automotive commercial life. This distinctive area is home to one of the first automotive centers in the country, which has generated a lot of business for Riverside. The residential parts of this community have a few good school options that are close and convenient for families. 

Ramona – Ramona is one of the larger neighborhoods in Riverside, offering numerous healthcare services, schools, various museums and historical landmarks. With California Baptist University being located in Ramona, this neighborhood has a lively mix of college students with single family residences. There are many shopping opportunities along the main streets in Ramona, making this community perfect for families or individuals who don’t want to be too far away from city life.

University – Home to the University of California Riverside, the University neighborhood is full of different opportunities and student life. However, despite the massive student population in this area, there is an exceptionally large residential area for families, as well. The mountainous area of this community is perfect for hiking or getting into nature. 

Victoria – Victoria is a community made up of many historic buildings. This neighborhood was once a part of Arlington Heights and is home to many residential areas. Victoria Avenue runs through this community, bringing beauty and life to an already great area.
